Tigard Senior Photographer | Nick
Nick is a senior at Tigard High School, and it was so fun getting to photograph this session as a Tigard senior photographer. He’s heading into an exciting year and has plans to attend Oregon State after graduation. Nick stays busy playing water polo and working as a lifeguard, which made it especially meaningful to capture this season of life for him.
For his senior session, we chose two great locations that offered a variety of looks. We started in Old Town Sherwood, where the textures and small-town feel created a relaxed, casual vibe. From there, we headed to the wildlife refuge to finish the evening surrounded by open space and soft, natural light. The combination gave us a perfect mix of environments while still keeping everything close to the Tigard area.
Nick was a little shy at the beginning, which is something I see often—especially with guys who don’t necessarily love being in front of the camera. One of the things I focus on as a Tigard senior photographer is creating an easy, low-pressure experience. I have a lot of experience working with boys and helping them feel comfortable quickly, whether that means giving simple direction, keeping things moving, or just letting them be themselves without over-posing. By the end of the session, Nick was relaxed, laughing, and genuinely having a great time. It definitely helped having his mom and girlfriend there—they kept the energy light and fun the entire evening.
NICK’S SENIOR SESSION WITH URBAN AND NATURAL LOCATIONS

Senior sessions don’t have to feel awkward or forced. They can be laid-back, natural, and even enjoyable (yes, even for the guys). If you’re looking for a Tigard senior photographer who knows how to create a comfortable, genuine experience, I’d love to connect and start planning a session that feels true to you.
