Portland Senior Photographer | Danielle

I love being a Portland senior photographer because I get to work with so many talented, inspiring teens. Danielle is a senior at Westside Christian and an incredible dancer at Fired-Up Dance Academy. She also dreams of a future in medicine. Despite several knee surgeries, Danielle has continued dancing, showing resilience and dedication that make her a true leader and role model for the other dancers. Her smile truly lights up every room she enters. Danielle also joined me at the Coast for summer dance sessions, and we had so much fun capturing her movement and personality.

For Danielle’s senior session, we intentionally chose two very different locations to create a complete and dynamic set of images. We started at Cathedral Park, one of my favorite urban spots in Portland. The combination of the bridge’s striking architecture and the natural greenery makes it a visually stunning backdrop. From there, we moved to Sauvie Island Farms for a completely different vibe. The sunflowers and spring blooms provided a soft, colorful, natural setting that complemented Danielle’s energy and grace. By the time the sun began to set, the warm golden light made the fields feel magical. Choosing both urban and natural locations is a great way to showcase different sides of a senior’s personality and create a versatile, memorable session.

Danielle was a dream to photograph, and I’m so excited to see what the future holds for her. She is going to accomplish incredible things, and I’m honored to have captured this special milestone as her Portland senior photographer.
