Laura and Ryan’s Oregon Coast elopement at Indian Beach was one of those days that perfectly captured everything I love about intimate weddings on the coast. Indian Beach is located within the Ecola State Park. It’s an incredible hidden beach in the Cannon Beach area. These two are the sweetest people, completely head over heels in love, and it was such an honor to document the beginning of their marriage.

From the moment I met them, it was obvious how much joy they bring to each other. Their day felt relaxed, meaningful, and full of genuine moments—exactly what an elopement should be.

Laura wore the most beautiful vintage gown from BHLDN. It fit her perfectly and moved so gracefully in the coastal wind. Ryan looked incredible in a navy jacket that complemented the soft tones of the beach and the misty Oregon coastline. Together they made such a stunning pair, but more than that, the way they looked at each other made every moment feel special.

The Oregon Coast gave us its classic weather that day—soft mist drifting through the air and gray clouds rolling over the ocean. But honestly, that’s part of what makes an Oregon Coast elopement so magical. Even in May, the weather can change quickly, and you never quite know what the day will bring.

Laura and Ryan embraced it completely. They didn’t mind the rain at all, and the mist created the most beautiful atmosphere along the beach. It was peaceful, romantic, and perfectly Oregon.

The access road had just reopened after significant winter storm damage, so Laura and Ryan were especially excited that we were able to reach the beach for their ceremony. Standing on the sand with the sound of the waves and mist drifting across the shoreline felt incredibly special.

Indian Beach is also known for its beautiful rock formations, tide pools, and sweeping ocean views. It’s a place that feels wild and peaceful at the same time—perfect for couples who want their elopement day to feel intimate and connected to nature.
