Best Engagement and Wedding Photographer | Portland, Oregon

2015 was an incredible year of new adventures in engagement and wedding photography. I began shooting Engagements, small Intimate Elopements and even a few beautiful weddings. Through the year I really began to love photographing couples more and more. I love telling a couple’s love story though photos. The excitement a couple shares when they look into each others eyes is magnetic. I feel very honored to be part of these intimate and romantic moments.

Oregon has some of the most beautiful locations for engagements and elopements. I love adventurous couples that are looking for beautiful and unique photos that incorporate the Pacific Northwest. The Oregon Coast has many secluded beaches. The forests and hills are so beautiful and romantic.

I am so honored these amazing couples allowed me to be part of their story. I am also grateful for the wonderful collaborations with other local Oregon photographers. Engagement and wedding photography is something I never knew I would enjoy this much. I can’t wait to meet new couples this year and document their love story.

Here are some of my favorites from 2015

2015 began with an incredible wedding conference, Mystic in downtown Portland at the Benson Hotel. I spent a day learning from and shooting with the super talented Susan Stripling. I enjoyed working with this sweet young couple and I loved working with window light only, very romantic.

In February I collaborated with a dear friend, Mellissa from Serendipity Photography in Salem. This Queen of Hearts styled Engagement session was amazing. It was so cold and windy but I love these photos and this awesome couple.In April, a group of 7 photographers, one couple, a bride and a florist had craziest 5 hour adventure of the year. We found the elusive Abiqua Falls and the results were so worth the insanity of locating the falls. If you are looking for an adventurous, out in nature, one of a kind unique wedding elopement, Abiqua Falls is the spot!Christina & Alan’s summer engagement session at the Tualatin Wildlife Refuge was beautiful. The sun setting over the field was beautiful. This was the silliest couple to work with and that made the session so fun and full of laughs. I love engagements sessions outdoors just before sunset.Their beautiful backyard wedding at their home in Sherwood was perfect. It was a small and intimate wedding with their family and closest friends. Christina and Alan smiled and laughed the whole day. They are perfect for each other!This incredible Beach Elopement along the Oregon Coast at Hug Point was magical. This small and secluded beach is the perfect setting for a romantic elopement ceremony. The styling was done by Mellissa and the colors really popped against the sand. This fall wedding at Yellow Gold Farms outside of Salem was quite the party. This family knew how to dance. I loved the emotion between bride and father. There were some very special moments during this wedding.This wedding at Leech Botanical Gardens was so unique with its vintage decor and her beautiful dress. The venue was so beautiful. They celebrated their vows with all their friends and family. Such a sweet couple and I am so happy they found one another!Janelle and Garrett’s gorgeous After the Wedding Trash the Dress session at Hug Point was definitely a highlight of 2015. This couple is amazing, the location is my favorite along the Oregon Coast, and the love these two have for one another is incredible. Everything about this session was magical.Another beautiful photo session with this wonderful couple last fall. The color of the vineyards was spectacular.

And finally, my favorite Engagement Session of the year. This summer styled engagement session at Mountainside Lavender was gorgeous. Everything about this was so beautiful and special. Everyone should consider a styled engagement session. Portland has so many beautiful places that are perfect for romantic engagement sessions.
