Vancouver Maternity Session at Fort Vancouver with the Beautiful Rosa

Vancouver has several wonderful locations for photography sessions. Fort Vancouver is such a unique location and it was perfect for Rosa’s maternity session. While I am based in Sherwood, Oregon, I am more than happy to head up to Vancouver or anywhere else. I first met Rosa and Brandon a little over 2 years ago at the Oregon Coast when they were expecting their first baby David. That will always be one of my most favorite beach maternity sessions. I photographed David’s newborn session and have done family sessions for this amazing family as well. I am so honored when clients continue to ask me to document their growing families. They really become more like friends and it’s wonderful being able to stay in touch over the years.

On this January day we really got lucky with great weather. It was dry and not too cold at all. We didn’t even need jackets on, which is crazy for January. Rosa and Brandon are expecting another baby boy. Big brother David is so excited to meet this baby. David was so funny during this session. David loves dinosaurs and loves to make dino noises. He had me laughing throughout the entire session. Rosa was glowing. She looked so amazing and so happy with this moment in her life. Rosa and Brandon are wonderful people and they are always so kind and sweet to work with. I am so excited to meet baby Liam in a few weeks!
