Tulip Wedding Proposal at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Oregon
The tulips were the most beautiful spot for this wedding proposal. Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, Oregon was able to open this year, after being closed last year due to Covid. I was thrilled the tulip fields were open because they are incredible and the highlight of spring for me. Logan first reached out to me a few weeks before he was flying to Oregon with his girlfriend. Casey loves tulips and Logan had hoped to propose in Amsterdam during their tulip festival. But of course, covid kept him from doing that last year and this year. So Logan did some research and learned about the Wooden Shoe tulip festival. They planned a weekend out here from Indiana to enjoy the tulips.
With the help of my daughter, we came up with a perfect plan to capture the wedding proposal. While it appeared that I was photographing my daughter, I was really focused on Logan and Casey. It worked out so well. Logan read the sweetest love note to Casey and then got down on one knee and asked, “Will you marry me?” She was so surprised and of course said yes. The excitement in the air was palpable. Casey was so excited. These two are the cutest couple and are going to have an amazing life together. It was such an honor to be a part of this special moment in their lives. Wedding proposals are so much fun!
