Tualatin Family Photographer | Winter at Browns Ferry Park

This Tualatin family photographer session took place just before Christmas. It was centered around one of the most meaningful gift ideas—a custom photo album for their mom. Ellie and Kimi planned the entire session as a surprise. With Ellie’s boyfriend home on leave, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect to capture their family all together.

We met at Brown’s Ferry Park. It’s one of the most beautiful locations for family photos in Tualatin. Between the charming old barn and peaceful river views, there was plenty of variety in the photos. Even though it was a chilly Oregon day, the energy stayed warm with constant laughter and easy, genuine moment. This is exactly what I aim to create during every family session.

Toward the end, Josh changed into his Marine uniform—a moment that carried so much pride and significance. As a Tualatin family photographer with a deep appreciation for military families, it was an honor to capture that part of their story. My family was a military family for 13 years, so this was so great to include some photos in his uniform. Being able to turn these moments into a heartfelt Christmas gift made this session one I won’t forget.
