Tigard Family Photographer
f you’ve been thinking about scheduling extended family photos but feel overwhelmed trying to coordinate everyone—you’re not alone. As a Tigard family photographer, I help make the process feel simple, guided, and genuinely enjoyable.
This summer, I photographed the Eide family at Cook Park in Tigard. It had been several years since all the cousins were together, and this was their first time capturing updated photos as a full extended family.
Cook Park is one of my favorite locations for summer sessions. The open space gives kids room to relax and be themselves, and the soft evening light creates a natural, easygoing feel—especially helpful when you’re bringing multiple families together.
My approach is always centered on taking the pressure off. From coordinating outfits across families to gently guiding the flow of the session, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
Because what matters most isn’t perfectly posed photos—it’s the real moments. Cousins laughing together, natural connection, and the feeling of being together again.
If you’ve been putting off extended family photos because it feels like too much to plan, I’m here to help make it feel easy—and meaningful from start to finish.

INTERESTED IN BOOKING YOUR FALL FAMILY SESSION?
Shannon Hager Photography is based in Portland, Oregon and offers family photo sessions throughout the Portland area, including Tigard, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, and surrounding communities. Tigard family sessions can take place in beautiful local parks, open fields, forest trails, or even in the comfort of your home for a relaxed lifestyle session.
Family photo sessions are available year-round. Spring and fall are especially popular seasons, and a limited number of family mini sessions are offered during those times at a special rate. Fall family sessions in particular tend to book quickly, so it’s best to reserve your date about 2–3 months in advance.
Sessions are designed to feel relaxed and natural, with plenty of space for kids to play, explore, and simply be themselves. My goal is always to capture genuine connection and the little in-between moments that make your family unique.
