Spring Tulip Field Session | Portland Baby & Family Photographer

Spring in Oregon is one of my most favorite times of year. The weather warms up and everything begins to bloom. This is the perfect time of year to get outside and update those baby and family photos. One of the highlights of Spring in Oregon is when the tulip fields open. The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn is an incredible place to visit. There are rows and rows of tulips in every color. As far as you can see there are tulips. The tulip fields are open for about 6 weeks in the Spring with peek blooms in April. This beautiful location is perfect for Baby, Children’s and Family photo sessions.

I was so excited to photograph this wonderful family in the tulip fields. I first met Katie and Bryan when Katie was 8 months pregnant. Katie’s Maternity Session was on of my favorites. When sweet baby Ella arrived in October I was so happy to meet her. Her newborn session was so sweet. Ella was a tiny little bundle of joy. Katie and Bryan are amazing parents and so much fun. I was very excited to see Baby Ella again and see how much she has grown. And oh my, she has gotten so much bigger.

We met at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Fields about an hour before sunset. It had been sunny the whole day but then the clouds rolled in. Luckily, it didn’t rain and we had a great photo session. This is the happiest little family. Baby Ella was all smiles the whole time. Katie and Bryan are so happy and in love. I just adore this wonderful family.

Thank you Katie & Bryan for an incredible Family Session in the tulip fields. I loved seeing sweet baby Ella again. She has gotten so big since her newborn session. You guys are the best!
