I truly enjoy being a Sherwood senior photographer because of all the wonderful kids I get to meet each year. Because I have 3 boy teenagers, senior boy sessions are some of my favorite. For Teyo's senior session we went to a few locations within Sherwood. Teyo has been close friends with my boys since elementary school. He has always felt like he was part of the family. Teyo is a very talented lacrosse player and has the funniest personality. He will be attending Oregon State University next year. Many boys do not want to have a senior photo session, but I always encourage them to do so. I will ensure the session is relaxed and help make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. I think Teyo can agree his senior photo session was easy-going, fun and went by so fast. Good luck next year Teyo!
3 Ideas for Senior Boy Photos
- Incorporate their interests: This could be a sport they play, activity they enjoy or even their beloved car or truck. Photographing them doing/showing off something they love will really help them relax.
- Next steps: Will your son be going to college next year? Include an outfit option with an item from that college. These photos are also a great way to announce his college of choice.
- Have a friend come to the photo session: Having a buddy there can help boys relax. A friend can offer comedic relief if needed. Some of the things I have overheard during sessions have had me in tears laughing.
