Sherwood Family Photographer | Early Fall at the Tualatin Wildlife Refuge

The Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge is the perfect location in Sherwood for family photos, especially in the early fall. In September the weather is still warm and generally summer-ish. The trees slowly begin to turn colors but overall, there it still feels like summer. This is the best for families that want to wear shorts, tee shirts and dresses. With the wildlife refuge so close to Sherwood, its an easy location to meet for photos.

The Mantalas family chose September for their family photos for all of these reasons. We had a great time walking the trails together. These two sweet boys are total goofballs and had me dying laughing the whole time. I loved capturing real moments for this family, moments that they are going to look back on and laugh. Not every photo needs to be posed. Some of the candid family photos are my most favorite!
