Ripplecreek Campground | Oregon Family Camping
Ripplecreek Campground, Oregon
In August we decided last minute to go camping one more time and our good friends decided to join us. There were not many options available so we just picked this one. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We got two spots right along the river. The bank of the river was perfect for the kids, even the little ones. The campsites were smaller and rather uneven, but we were happy the kids could play and throw rocks while we sat close by. The boys enjoyed catching frogs and there seemed to be so many.
We drove to a nearby lake and attempted to catch some fish. That didn’t happen but everyone had fun trying. The kids and the guys ended up building a rock barrier along the river and created a nice little pool for the kids to play in. It was a great last weekend of summer doing what we love.
