Portland Home Newborn Photography Session | Jewelene

Introducing Baby Jewelene. I met this beautiful little girl when she was five days old.  Sweet little Jewelene was born a week late. She weighed 8lbs and 9.5 ounces. I just love her special name. She was named after her Grandmother and it is such a pretty name. Jewelene’s chubby cheeks are so precious and she has the cutest little button nose. This little girl was an absolute doll during her session. She was sleepy and so calm and relaxed.

Jewelene’s session took place in her gorgeous nursery. Home sessions are for families that would prefer some posed photos but also more lifestyle photos. Her father really did an amazing job decorating and painting the nursery. In home sessions are always so much fun because I am able to tell more of Baby Jewelene’s story. I was able to photograph the world that surrounds her.

I think little Jewelene looks so beautiful in this lilac color. The knitted hat and blanket is so pretty. She has the perfect little nose. And those cheeks, I just love chubby cheeks. During a newborn session I always try to get some detail shots. Jewelene’s little legs naturally stayed crossed this way. Her toes are so cute. And I love her little hands, so delicate and petite. When newborns are only a few days old, I am able to get these type of shots. They still want to be snug and they are so sleepy and relaxed. She is perfect!

These black and white photos were requested by Jewelene’s father and I just love them. Jewelene looks so tiny in her daddy’s hands. And the photo of all their hands is priceless. These photos are classic and timeless and they will treasure these for a lifetime. They are forever blessed with Jewelene in their lives now. They are a family now.

The photos below are one of the main reasons families select a home newborn session. When I come to your home I am able to photograph in the nursery. These photos tell more of this sweet little girls story. Jewelene’s nursery is beautiful. The pinks and peaches and whites are so elegant and pretty. I was able to capture some very special photos of this amazing family together in the nursery. The first few days with a newborn is exhausting. But looking at these proud parents you could never tell. They are so proud of their new baby girl.
