Portland Family Photographer | Christmas Tree Holiday Session

When this wonderful family called and said they wanted something different this year for their annual family photo, I suggested going to a Christmas Tree farm. They loved the idea. We met at Lee Farms in Tualatin just before sunset on an unseasonably warm fall October day. There are so many trees farms in Portland and this one was perfect. We found this little area with smaller trees and it was the perfect spot for their family photos.

Lindsay and Darwin have the most beautiful little girls. They were so much fun to photograph and they really loved the tree farm. It was fun to talk about Christmas in October and wear Santa hats. As the sun set lower in the sky, the light become so pretty and magical.

These girls seriously are the most beautiful sisters. Look at those gorgeous eyes, so sweet. Darwin is pretty lucky to have 4 amazing girls in his life. And those girls are pretty proud of their dad and think he is pretty cool and funny. I love when Darwin sat down on the little toddler chair, put on the Santa hat, and told the girls to come sit and tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas. It was such a sweet moment followed by lots of giggles!

These girls are also very lucky they have a beautiful and fun mom. Lindsay is blessed with 3 beautiful daughters. And they just love her so much!

Thank you Barney family for a great evening at the Christmas Tree farm. I loved meeting this wonderful family. I hope they have a great Christmas. One last favorite I have to share. The last few minutes of sunshine was amazing, so magical!
