Portland Engagement Photographer | Christina & Alan at Sunset

I was so happy to finally meet Christina & Alan. I had been looking forward to their September wedding for awhile and this was the perfect time to meet before. We met at the local coffee to discuss the details of their special wedding day. Then we headed up to their home in Sherwood where the ceremony would take place. It was beautiful.

As the sun began to set, we rushed over to the Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge for a beautiful sunset engagement session. I always love to meet couples before the wedding. Its a great way to get to know each other and practice being in front of the camera as a couple. I love to hear how they met and their story.

Christina and Alan have a lovely story of how they met. They are the cutest couple and so in love. They laughed and laughed during their engagement session. We all had a great laugh when it came to the “prom” poses. Christina and Alan are so down to earth and easy going. Their engagement session was amazing and I can’t wait for their wedding!

The light was absolutely magical during this summer sunset. Summer light is so pretty and romantic at sunset, perfect for engagement sessions. The Tualatin River Wildlife Refuge is always a favorite location of mine because of where the sun sets. Its really beautiful.
