Portland Elopement Photographer | Carrie & David Say “I do” at the Portland Rose Garden on a beautiful evening in June

I was first contacted by Carrie & David in the spring. This sweet couple is from Missouri. They decided to Elope to Oregon and spend a week here. Carrie and David had never been to Oregon. They chose Oregon for their Elopement because Portland is one of the top rated cities for Vegans. Coming from a little town in Missouri with limited vegan choices, they were so excited to come to Portland can enjoy the food scene.

Carrie & David flew out to Portland in June. I helped choose the location for their ceremony and we decided on the Portland Rose Garden. The gardens are so beautiful and this was the perfect time of year with the roses in full bloom. We met late in the afternoon at the gardens. When the judge arrived, my husband and I watched these two say “I do”. The ceremony was short and sweet, but so lovely and intimate.

We spent an hour walking through the gardens and photographing this wonderful couple. After that, we hopped in our cars and headed out to my favorite place for Elopement and Couples photos, the Oregon Coast. Oregon Coast Photography Sessions are my absolute favorite. The beach is my happy place. For Carrie, this was going to be her first time ever seeing the ocean and stepping in the sand. Stayed tuned for part two of Carrie & David’s Oregon Elopement.
