Portland Backyard Wedding Photographer | Melody & Jake’s Zoom Micro Wedding

As we all know, Covid has had a major impact on our lives. This is especially true for so many couples that were planning big wedding celebrations this year. I am so bummed for so many wonderful couples that have rescheduled for 2021. However, some couples have adapted and and have come up with some creative ways to have a micro wedding and follow safety guidelines. Melody & Jake were planning on an August wedding. Not wanting to wait until year, they decided to get married in their backyard with a few of their closest family members. The rest of their wedding guests signed on to a Zoom call and were able to watch the entire ceremony from the safety of their homes. Who hasn’t done something via zoom in 2020, haha!

Backyard weddings are a great way to follow Covid rules and still celebrate this huge moment. By adding Zoom, your friends and extended families can still be a part of the wedding day. Melody & Jake’s backyard wedding was so special. The intimate setting created a much more emotional atmosphere and you could really feel the love everyone had for this wonderful couple. There was so much happiness and excitement from the “Zoom” guests really made it feel like you were at a big wedding.

I am so happy Melody & Jake were able to make the best of the situation. They will definitely have an incredible story to tell about their wedding day. Congratulations Melody & Jake!
