There’s something especially meaningful about a proposal that feels deeply personal from start to finish. Kjell planned every detail of this surprise proposal in Pacific City, Oregon so intentionally, and it was one of those evenings that felt emotional in the very best way.
The Oregon Coast has a way of making moments feel even more memorable. The soft light, the sound of the waves, the wide open beach — it creates this calm, intimate feeling where everything else seems to fade away for a little while. That evening in Pacific City was exactly that.
Kjell had arranged a beautiful heart made of rose petals in the sand, right near the water with Haystack Rock in the distance. It was simple, romantic, and so intentional. One of those moments that instantly slows time down.
Their dog walked over wearing the ring around its neck, which completely caught her by surprise. It was such a personal touch and one of those moments that felt so genuinely them. The second she realized what was happening, the emotions completely took over.
And just when she thought the surprise couldn’t possibly get any better, their closest friends and family came running out from their hiding spots nearby on the beach.
She had no idea they were there.
