Oregon Wedding at The Arc Light | Kimi & Mateo

The Arc Light wedding venue in Oregon City was the perfect place for a spring wedding. Spring weather in Oregon can be unpredictable, so The Arc Light is a great indoor venue option. I have know Kimi and Mateo for over 5 years, since early on in their relationship. When they decided to get married, I was so honored they asked me to be their photographer. Kimi and Mateo are so smart and have spent many years continuing their education in medicine and law. Their wedding day was filled with laughter, a well choreographed dance down the isle and a beautiful celebration with family and friends. The Arc Light venue proved to be an amazing Oregon wedding venue, outside of downtown. I can't wait to share these photos of Kimi & Mateo's wedding day.

Getting Ready | The Velvet Room & The Whiskey Room

The bridal suite at The Arc Light is white and filled with so much light. The room is expansive, with plenty of sitting space, mirrors and vanity space. It is the perfect place for a bride and her bridesmaids to get ready. Kimi was glowing this day. She was so excited to be marrying Mateo.

The groom's suite at The Arc Light wedding venue is so unique. The dark hard woods and leather couches give the space a very majestic feeling. The pool table offers entertainment and a great way for the groom and groomsmen to hang out before the wedding. It's such a cool space and really does feel like an old fashioned whiskey room.

First Look

Kimi and Mateo's first look took place in the beautiful bridal suite. They were so excited to see each other. Mateo was so happy when he turned around and saw his stunning bride. You could feel them both relaxing and the wedding day stress melting away. Kimi and Mateo exchanged gifts and sweet notes. It was the perfect quiet moment for them before the ceremony.

Ceremony

The ceremony took place in The Arc Light's ballroom. It's a beautiful white and bright room, with beautiful crystal chandeliers. Kimi's sister Ellie choreographed the most perfect wedding isle dance for the bridesmaids, groomsman and groom. The guests loved this fun little surprise. Kimi and Mateo exchanged lovely vows and it was official. They were husband and wife!

Reception

After the ceremony, there were drinks in the Cocktail Lounge. This is one of the coolest and more unique areas of The Arc Light. The room has an awesome vibe and creates a fun atmosphere for the rest of the evening. Kimi & Mateo's reception included a delicious dinner catered by The Hive. The food was amazing. The Hive is located in the same building as The Arc Light, which is so convenient. There were several heart warming speeches and toasts given. Then there was dancing, lots of dancing!
