Oregon Coast Photographer | Family Day at Arcadia Beach

Last weekend we had family visiting from Florida. The weather was going to be beautiful at the Coast, so we got the whole family together and headed to the beach. We decided on Arcadia Beach which is just south of Cannon Beach. We arrived just before lowtide. We timed it perfectly. There were some great tidepools and little pools of trapped water. It was the perfect spot for kids, especially my younger nieces and nephews.

The kids all really loved exploring the tide pools and searching for sea creatures. They really loved the starfish we found. Once they got tired of looking for things they all jumped in the little pools. The water was much warmer than the ocean. They played and played.

They made sandcastles and we had a picnic lunch. This was both my nieces first time at the beach. I loved experiencing this with them. Cooper was such a big helper. He made sandcastles and made sure the girls had everything they needed. He was so sweet with them!

I really loved this large rock that was surrounded by clear water. And of course Carson asked if I wanted a photo of him at the top, and of course I said yes!

After everyone dried off, the kids played a game of soccer. It was the perfect family day at Arcadia Beach. We will be visiting this beach again very soon!
