Oregon Coast Family Day at Cape Kiwanda, Pacific City Oregon

Oregon Coast family days are the best. Cape Kiwanda has been one of our favorite beaches for a long time. My husband loves that he can drive on the beach. On the north side of Cape Kiwanda, they allow vehicles on the beach and there is plenty of room to spread out. I love that it is much less crowded then the Pacific City side of the cape. My kids love the sand dunes, tidepools and the ocean waves. Every spring we hit this beach first to start our beach season fun. Spending time with my family at the Oregon Coast is always memorable.

Family days are always special, but at the beach they are magical. The beach is so relaxing. A sense of calm and peace take over and that feeling is amazing. Our day to day lives are busy. When we are at the Oregon Coast, everything seems to stop. Most often we don’t have cell service so everyone is off their electronics and we can really talk and connect with one another. Heading to the Oregon Coast is the perfect family activity any time of year. Warmer days are much better for wave jumping, but my crazy kids don’t seem to be bothered by the cold Pacific Ocean.

Cape Kiwanda is beautiful and I always find something new to fall in love with every time we visit. Enjoy some of the photos from our fun spring day at the beach. I hope you add this Oregon beach to your bucket list.
