Newborn Photographer Portland | Baby Girl Everly

Introducing Baby Everly. This sweet newborn baby girl is so precious. I absolutely love what her parent named her. Everly is such a beautiful name and I think it fits her perfectly. Everly’s parents choose a studio newborn session for their little girl. Everything was set up and ready to go when they arrived. When I first saw this beautiful little girl, I fell in love with her hair. She has so much hair. I love when newborns have a lot of hair, probably because all my babies had none. Sweet little Everly was not very sleepy at the beginning of her session. With a little work, she finally drifted to sleep for a short period of time.

Everly looks so peaceful in these photos. She has the cutest little lips. They are so sweet! Everly’s parents really love the color purple. I was more than happy to incorporate some purple props into her photos. These are my favorite. So simple and timeless. Everly is so precious!

Everly only slept for 5 minute increments. Luckily, after a little work she would drift back to sleep. I was able to photograph a variety of images. You would never know she only slept propbably 20 minutes out of her 2 1/2 hour session. Staying calm and being patient always is the best way to capture these sweet little moments. Newborn photography is not something that can be rushed. Baby safety and happiness is so important to me. During sessions we are on baby time, so there is no time limit. Parents should always feel relaxed and not stressed when their baby is not sleeping. This is all normal. Being a newborn photographer is an amazing job and I feel so blessed parents trust me to photograph their precious brand new babies. There is nothing better than baby snuggles!
