Multnomah Falls Wedding Proposal | She Said Yes!

Being a part of this Multnomah Falls wedding proposal was incredible! Cole contacted me a few weeks before this day. Cole and his girlfriend Cayla were coming up to Portland from California for a weekend away. This was the first time they have visited Portland. Cole really wanted to make his wedding proposal special. He knew they both liked the outdoors and love waterfalls. After sending him a few waterfall options in the Columbia River Gorge that would be perfect for a wedding proposal, he choose Multhnomah Falls. Multnomah Falls is a very popular place to visit so I recommended early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

It was a perfect fall day, the rain stayed away and it wasn’t windy. Cole woke up the morning of the proposal and was so nervous. He said the hardest part of pulling off the whole plan was making sure she was wearing something she would love for the photos, not just a sweatshirt. I arrived at the falls about an hour before they were supposed to arrive. I found the perfect hiding place and luckily their were photographers everywhere, so I blended in.

When I saw them arrive and walk up to the viewing area of Multnomah Falls, I felt just as nervous as Cole probably. They talked for awhile and then he did it. He got down on one knee and proposed. Cayla was SO surprised! She immediately said yes and the look on her face was priceless. I moved in closer and it took a few minutes for her to realize he had hired a photographer. It was an amazing experience to be a part of. Cayla had no idea he was going to propose at Multnomah Falls or even during their trip. Cole did such a great job keeping it a secret, making it special and having me there to document this exciting moment in their lives.
