Multnomah Falls Elopement | Oregon Elopement Photographer
This Multnomah Falls Elopement was so lovely. Shannon and Todd decided a destination elopement would be a great way to say I do. They chose Oregon for their elopement and were so excited to be married in front of a waterfall. Shannon and Todd flew into Portland from Oklahoma in early April. They spent a day in the gorge waterfall hopping before deciding on their favorite waterfall. The Columbia River Gorge has so many beautiful waterfalls that it can be hard to select just one. Once they saw Multnomah Falls, they knew that was the perfect waterfall to get married in front of. They also loved two other waterfalls in the same area, so after their ceremony, we went exploring.
Multnomah Falls is the most popular waterfall in Oregon. It is busy year round, with crowds lighter on weekdays. When it was time for Shannon & Todd’s ceremony, everyone moved to the side and watched. The ceremony was beautiful, especially in front of such an incredible waterfall. Shannon and Todd kissed and the bystanders around all started cheering. It was so such a fun moment!
Shannon and Todd have been together for several years. They are now married and will be combining their families for a total of nine children. They are wonderful people and I am so happy I was able to be a part of their wedding day. Here are some of my favorites from our Columbia River Gorge waterfall wedding adventure.
Shannon & Todd’s Waterfall Elopement

After Shannon and Todd were married in front of Multnomah Falls, we hopped in the car and headed to Wahkeena Falls. We had the area all to ourselves. Shannon is so beautiful!

Our final waterfall adventure was Latourell Falls. This is my favorite waterfall for photos. I love close to the falls you are able to get. And as Todd proved, you really can get very close!
