George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego is a beautiful location for family photo sessions. As a Lake Oswego Family Photographer I am always looking for easy to access locations with variety and space to roam. There are so many different areas and looks available at George Rogers Park, from the bridge in the forest to the waterfront. It is a great place for photos. This is the Robertson Family. I first met them 2 years ago when Nick surprised Paula with a family session for Mother’s Day. This year they choose George Rogers Park and we had so much fun. I love when families continue to book me for family photos year after year.
These sweet and hilarious boys are so polite and so silly. They love their mom and dad. Everyone was so happy and in a great mood. Their family session was timed perfectly for the sun setting. I love the photos on the rocks down by the water. It was such a beautiful evening!

Because fall colors only last for a short window each year, it’s best to plan your session in advance to capture the peak of the season. In the Portland area, fall color typically arrives in mid-October through early November, depending on the weather.
Sessions are usually scheduled close to sunset or just after sunrise, when the light is soft and flattering. That golden fall light filtering through the trees creates a cozy, glowing atmosphere that feels both natural and relaxed — perfect for families with little ones.
