Spring in Oregon is breathtaking. From the Cherry Blossom trees in Portland, to the peach blossoms on Sauvie Island and this place, the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn. This is one of the most incredible places to visit in the spring. The tulips are in bloom for about 4-5 weeks. The fields are vast and the color is vibrant and goes forever. The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm has many special events, food and displays during the festival.

The tulip fields are the perfect location for Spring Family photos. The colors are beautiful and bright. After a gray and gloomy winter, these fields will brighter your life for sure. Maternity, Baby, Children’s and Family sessions are amazing here in the spring. Another great thing about the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, they allow well behaved dogs to visit.

These photos are from our spring visit to the tulip fields with Rembrandt, my parents Champion Old English Sheepdog. We had such a wonderful time exploring the fields and looking for our favorites flowers. My kids also really loved spending time with their favorite dog.

I really cannot say it enough times, the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm is beautiful. Look at those colors! The fields do get busy on the weekends, so I do suggest visiting weekdays if possible. You can easily spend 3-4 hours at the festival.
