Catalina Island is a perfect location for a Spring Elopement. Catalina Island is located off the Coast of Southern California. You can reach this beautiful island from several different ferry ports. The journey is quick and so worth it. Stepping off the ferry onto Catalina Island you instantly feel like you have been transported to the Mediterranean riviera. The waters are blue, the palm trees tall and the town feels like you are in Italy or France.
Getting married on Catalina Island is a great way to have a destination wedding without flying for hours and hours. There are several boutique hotels, perfect for you and guests to relax and enjoy all the island has to offer. The restaurants and bars are lovely, as are the beach clubs and sights. With amazing views, natural landscapes and clear blue waters. No wonder this is an up and coming elopement and wedding destination.
Madisynn and Ryan decided to have their spring elopement on Catalina Island to beat the summer crowds. Catalina Island is very popular, especially in June through August. Madisynn and Ryan frequently visited the island while dating, so they knew it had to be the place they say “I do”.
They chose to have a very intimate ceremony, just the two of them reading private vows. Madisynn looked stunning in her dress. It was the perfect island beach wedding dress. Ryan looked so handsome and was smiling the entire time. With the lower crowds, we were able to visit several different areas of the island. They had tequila shots before reading their vows. After their vows, they had the perfect picnic on the beach, looking out at the beautiful ocean. These two were so happy to be married and so happy they chose to elope on Catalina Island. At a later date they celebrated back on the mainland with friends and family. Madiysnn and Ryan will forever cherish these private moments.
