Cannon Beach Photographer | Hug Point Extended Family Session

I love being a Cannon Beach Photographer because I get to meet the most amazing families and couples. Cannon Beach is my favorite spot on the Oregon Coast and is also very popular with visitors. There are several fantastic locations in the area, but Hug Point has my heart. Hug Point at low tide is breathtaking with its caves, tall cliff walls and waterfall. Cannon Beach is a wonderful place to spend the weekend or even a week with your extended family. And what could be a better way to celebrate family time together than an extended family session.

I met Erica and her family on a lovely summer morning. The beach is ideal for social distancing and still being able to have a great day and a great family session. With so much space available during low tide, Hug Point provides a great spot to follow Covid guidelines. When I am working with families, we are able to keep our social distance while still creating magical memories that will last a lifetime. The past couple of months have been so stressful so I am really enjoying photographing families making the best of the situation. Life may be very different right now, but seeing this family enjoy time together was so special.
