Cannon Beach Family Session | Owen’s 1st Birthday

This Cannon Beach family session took place at Arcadia Beach on a beautiful evening in May. This was the perfect way to celebrate Owen’s first birthday and create some wonderful memories at the Coast. I first met Owen at his newborn session last year. He has gotten so big since then and has the cutest personality. It brings me so much joy when I get to see newborn clients when they turn one. When Owen first stepped onto the sand he was a little unsure. As soon as he saw the ocean, his parents and I couldn’t keep him away. He was completely in love with the waves and the ocean. Owen kept running to the water with no fear. Surprisingly, the water wasn’t too cold. Owen had so much fun splashing in the water. The dogs also loved the ocean just as much.

I truly enjoy photographing families at the Oregon Coast. There are so many beautiful places that are perfect for photo sessions. The area around Cannon Beach has so many options. Arcadia Beach is a wonderful spot that is often very quite. On this day, we had the beach all to ourselves. Other options around Cannon Beach are Hug Point, Haystack Rock and Ecola State Park. The G family had a great time together on the beach and they will never forget how much Owen loved the ocean.
