Cannon Beach Family Photographer | The H Family

I met the H family in Cannon Beach for their Extended Family Session. This wonderful family came from all over to enjoy a week at the beach together. So many families are gathering together this summer for the first time in over a year because of Covid. It is so much fun to see the joy on their faces and how happy they are to be together. Cannon Beach has several places that are perfect for family sessions. We choose a location for this session that was flat with easy access. The beach area off of Les Shirley Park was a great option for family members that need an easy walk to the sand.

Extended family sessions are always a little busy, with so many people and a lot going on. This can be really hard for little ones. In the case of these family photos, a few of the little ones were not thrilled with photo time. That is ok. We took several breaks and just let them play, we brought out bubbles and tried to make the experience as much as possible. While there may be some not so perfect group photos, I absolutely believe that is ok. This is real life, and real life is not always sunshine and rainbows. What matters is that they were all present together and making memories. I am so happy I was able to capture this moment for this wonderful family. They will have some great stories from this session and photos to go along with those stories.
