Baby Charlie | Newborn Photographer Portland Oregon

This newborn session is very special to me. I love being a newborn photographer and I love all the sweet newborn babies I get to snuggle and photograph. This handsome little guy is my nephew Charlie. During this session I was not just a newborn photographer, but I was Auntie! I did not live in Portland when my nephews, Charlie’s big brothers, were born. I am so happy I live in Portland now and was able to photograph the most adorable little boy.

Charlie arrived 3 weeks early and much to the surprise of my sister-in-law and the rest of the family. Charlie came into the world safely, weighing almost 7lbs. He spent several hours in the hospital with this my precious nephew. Newborn snuggles are the best.

For Charlie’s newborn session I went to their home. I started with Charlie’s photos before my nephews got home from school. Charlie was a dream to work with. He slept and slept and slept. Charlie didn’t wake up once or fuss. He was the perfect little baby. I love this cute little face and his squishy baby toes. I knew from the beginning these were going to be some my most favorite newborns photos.

When my nephews Holden and Harrison got home from school they each took a turn holding Charlie and getting their photos taken. My sister-in-law has never had professional photos taken of the boys and she was almost in tears watching such special moments take place in front of my camera. In that moment she instantly knew the importance of newborn photography.

These newborn photos will be cherished for a lifetime. I am so honored I was able to be Baby Charlie’s newborn photographer. Even more special, I am so incredibly happy I have another nephew to love on.
