Aurora Colony Vineyards Fall Wedding | Chelsea & Tyler
Aurora Colony Vineyards was the perfect venue for Chelsea & Tyler’s early fall wedding. I first met Chelsea & Tyler the year before at Dana & Ryan’s wedding. Chelsea and Ryan are sister and brother and have the most amazing family. I was so honored and excited to spend the day with their wonderful family. Before Chelsea & Tyler’s wedding day, we met in the winter up at Mt. Hood for a cozy and snowy Engagement Session. I have truly enjoyed getting to know this amazing couple and loved being a part of their special wedding day. Aurora Colony Vineyards is such a beautiful venue with plenty of space, vineyards and gorgeous landscaping. Chelsea and Tyler’s wedding day was filled with laughter, tears, and so much love.
Getting Ready | Aurora Colony Vineyards Fall Wedding
Chelsea and Tyler got ready in the same building at Aurora Colony Vineyards but on different floors. They decided to not to a first look before the ceremony, so extra attention was needed to make sure they didn’t see each other before. Chelsea and her bridesmaids got ready upstairs. It was a beautiful space for the ladies with lots of light, mirrors and space. Everyone looked so beautiful in their robes and the colors were perfect for a fall wedding. There were so many special moments during this time, some tears and so much laughing. This is one of my most favorite parts of the wedding day. Chelsea opened the sweetest gift and note from Tyler. Chelsea’s beautiful mother helped her into her dress. She look absolutely gorgeous!
Tyler and his guys got ready downstairs. They ate lunch, joked and had a tie tying contest. Chelsea had a special gift and note delivered to the groom, including an Ice Challenge. It was so special seeing how well these two people know each other and love one another. Their gifts were for each other were spot on.
Father’s First Look | Aurora Colony Vineyards Fall Wedding
Because Chelsea and Tyler decided not to do a first look before the wedding, Chelsea arranged to do a first look with her father Tom. Chelsea’s dad is a pretty cool guy and it was so sweet seeing his reaction to his beautiful daughter. It was a very special moment for the two of them. I love this idea for weddings!
The Ceremony | Aurora Colony Vineyards Fall Wedding
Larger ceremonies at Aurora Colony Vineyards take place at the bottom of a tiered amphitheater. It is an incredible space with more than enough room for 400+ guests. Chelsea and Tyler were center stage for the wedding and everyone in attendance had a perfect view. When Chelsea came down the stairs and Tyler saw her for the first time, his breath was truly taken away. I don’t think they could have been smiling any bigger than they were at that moment. At the beginning of the ceremony, Chelsea and Tyler had prepared thank you notes for their parents. Both sets of parents were surprised and very touched by this gesture. Chelsea and Tyler’s vows were funny and so full of love. It was a beautiful ceremony!
Wedding Party & Family Photos | Portland Wedding Photographer
Some wedding party and family photos were taken before the ceremony, ones that didn’t include the bride and groom at the same time. After the ceremony, we took photos of everyone all together. There were so many silly photos taken that I only could choose a few to share here. Clearly, this was a fun group to work with and they are definitely a fun group to be a part of.
The Details | Aurora Colony Vineyards Fall Wedding
The colors of Chelsea & Tyler’s wedding were perfect for a fall wedding at a vineyard. The deep red really popped against the green. The flowers were so elegant and lush. The dark red dahlias were so pretty. Aurora Colony Vineyards has the cutest little chapel and that was the backdrop of the reception. Everything came together so nicely.
The Reception | Aurora Colony Vineyards Fall Wedding
Chelsea & Tyler’s reception was amazing, from the grand entrance of the wedding party, bride and groom all the way to the dance party. People ate delicious food, mingled and celebrated the newlyweds. The toasts were so thoughtful, full of emotion and just the right amount of comedic relief. Chelsea and Tyler made it a point to go to each table and thank their guests for attending their wedding. They played the shoe game, danced and ate cake. It was a great evening with friends and family.
Chelsea & Tyler | Aurora Colony Vineyards Fall Wedding
During the reception, we snuck out into the vineyards for couples photos. The vineyard and the vines full of grapes were a beautiful setting for Chelsea & Tyler’s photos. I love spending some time with couples away from the guests and party. It gives the bride and groom a moment to just enjoy each other, talk and really take in the events of the day. Chelsea and Tyler are the sweetest couple and love each other so much. It was a perfect fall wedding day for these two!
Congratulations Chelsea & Tyler!
