Oregon Coast Extended Family Session | Rockaway Beach, S Family

The Oregon Coast is the perfect place for extended families to gather together and enjoy a weekend or a whole week of family fun. Many families come to the Coast to celebrate anniversaries or many other big celebrations within the family. There are so many wonderful beaches on the Oregon Coast with house rentals of all sizes. The Schutz family came from different places on the West Coast to Rockaway Beach. A photo session on the beach was the best way to document their time together and to create so many special memories.

We met at Barview Jetty park in Rockaway Beach. It was a pretty gray day, however the beach was quite empty for a summer weekend evening. First we walked out on the jetty, but it was really windy. So, we explored some of the other areas of the park. This was the first time I have had a family session at this location in Rockaway Beach, and it quickly became a new favorite in the area. I spent about an hour with this wonderful family. I love when families plan an activity to do together during their session. The Schutz family brought beach balls. All the kids loved trying to throw the balls to the adults against the wind. We got lucky and didn’t lose any into the ocean, but it was a close call several times.

I love meeting families at the Oregon Coast and I loved everything about this session with the Schutz Family.
