Gorgeous Fall Mountain Elopement | Portland Oregon Wedding Photographer
Lauren & Chris’s gorgeous Fall Mountain Elopement in Carson, Washington was incredible. I first met Lauren and Chris earlier in the year for their Engagement Session at Wahclella Falls and Government Cove. We instantly bonded and I have really been looking forward to their Fall Elopement. Lauren and Chris knew they wanted to have their ceremony in the mountains of the Columbia Gorge and they found a beautiful location in Carson, Washington. On the day of their Elopement it was pouring, nonstop rain. So we went with Plan B. Lauren and Chris were staying at the Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins. These cabins are amazing and the property is so gorgeous. Chris and Lauren’s mothers joined them on this special day. We all decided the front porch of the cabin would be the perfect place to say “I do” and stay dry.
Lauren and Chris are the happiest couple. They are super laid back and love to be outside in nature together. It was a real honor to be part of their Elopement Ceremony. Lauren looked absolutely stunning in her Madison James gown. The dress was so gorgeous. Her lovely pearl earrings and sparkly shoes were perfect accents. Lauren has the most incredible eyes. They sparkle! Chris looked so handsome in his suit and I loved the color of his tie. It matched the breathtaking flowers created by the very talented Susanna Luck Flowers. Susanna made a lovely floral crown that was perfect for Lauren. And that bouquet, so amazing and so perfect for this fall day in the mountains.
I spent the day with Lauren and Chris and it couldn’t have been more magical. I drove up to Carson from Portland in the pouring rain. It did not let up. The mountains and hills in the gorge were so pretty with the low clouds and rain. When I arrived at the cabin, Lauren was just starting to get ready in her cabin with her mother. She was relaxed, not stressing about the weather and so excited to marry the man of her dreams today. Their ceremony was full of emotions and some tears. They exchanged their vows and they were so sweet. I loved that they chose their mothers to be their witnesses. This was so special for the 4 of them. A few days after their Elopement they flew to San Diego for a stress free and fun reception with friends and family.
