Oregon Coast Maternity Photographer | Hug Point, Cannon Beach
Oregon Coast Maternity Sessions are my absolute favorite. I love the beach and I love celebrating this special moment in time with some of the sweetest couples. Hug Point near Cannon Beach is the most amazing beach along the Oregon Coast. Hug Point is my go-to for Oregon Coast Photography Sessions. Most of my clients are coming from Portland or Vancouver and this is a quick 90 minute drive from the city.
For Rosa & Brandon’s session at Hug Point, we met 90 minutes before sunset. There is nothing more magical than the beautiful light at the end of the day, especially at the coast. The tide was still pretty high when we first arrived so we started on the left side of the beach. Once the tide started going out we snuck around the corner of the rocks and the secret beauty of Hug Point was revealed.
It was so much fun working with this sweet couple. They are expecting their first baby boy in a few weeks and they are so excited to meet little David. Rosa is funny and full of energy. She is a Chemistry Professor and I think that is so cool! She is so gorgeous and her belly bump is the perfect little basketball. Rosa and Brandon are going to be amazing parents. I am so happy for them!
The rocks and cliff walls at Hug Point are so neat. There are so many different colors. I love all the different textures.

A wave may have sneaked up on us and got us all a little wet, but Rosa & Brandon didn’t mind.

And then the sun prepared to dip into the ocean and for a few minutes, it was surreal. Sunsets at the Oregon Coast can be hit or miss.
Tonight it was magical!
