Columbia Gorge Engagement Session | Dana & Mike

For Dana & Mike’s Engagement Session, we headed out to the beautiful Columbia Gorge and Government Cove. I was so excited to meet this couple and get to know them better before their summer wedding. Government Cove is a beautiful hidden area in Cascade Locks. I love all the different textures and the views are spectacular. We met in Cascade Locks and they followed me out to the cove. It was a fairly warm January day, but quite a windy day. We really got lucky with the weather for this time of year. Dana & Mike will be getting married in July at the Riverview Restaurant in the western end of the Columbia Gorge. I am so excited for their wedding.

Mike proposed to Dana up at Mt. Hood. They hiked in the snow into Trillium Lake. On the edge of the frozen lake he asked Dana to marry him. It was the sweetest story. Dana was very surprised. Dana & Mike are such a fun couple to hang out with. They are so happy together and love each other deeply. We laughed and exchanged stories. Dana & Mike enjoy going out for delicious meals. We shared our favorite restaurants and had quite a few in common. We explored Government Cove and created some beautiful images. It was a great afternoon!
