Cannon Beach is the perfect location for your Oregon Destination Elopement. I love being an Oregon Wedding photographer because of all the amazing places I get to witness couples in love say “I do”. When Zhe & Xinran first contacted me, I was so excited they were coming from Seattle to Oregon for their elopement photos. The Oregon Coast has been a very popular place to get married in recent years. The Oregon Coast is beautiful, whether its sunny or raining. Zhe & Xinran had never been to Cannon Beach and they were instantly in love with the tiny little town and miles of sand.

Originally we had planned on meeting at sunrise on a Saturday. When the weather forecast called for heavy rain Saturday morning we were a little bummed. However, the weather Friday was incredible, warm and sunny. Zhe & Xinran were able to get off work early on Friday and drive down from Seattle in time for sunset. It was so worth it. The sky was magical that evening.

Zhe & Xinran are the sweetest couple. They are so in love and so happy together. It was so much fun getting to know them and documenting their love for one another. Xinran looked beautiful in her dress. It was the perfect dress for the beach. We planned on getting in the ocean later in the evening, but within 5 minutes a wave snuck up and they were both wet. They smiled and laughed and the rest of the evening was amazing. I love when couples get in the ocean, splash and get wet.

I am so happy for these two! The following day we met at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm, but that story is for another day. Please enjoy these gorgeous moments of Zhe & Xinran in front of Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach. This was such a perfect evening!
